Orders We Will Not Obey

“The time is now near at hand which must probably determine, whether Americans are to be, Freemen, or Slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their Houses, and Farms, are to be pillaged and destroyed, and they consigned to a State of Wretchedness from which no human efforts will probably deliver them. Such a time is near at hand again. The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the Courage and Conduct of this Army – and this Marine Corps, This Air Force, This Navy and the National Guard and police units of these sovereign states.

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, reserves, National Guard, peace officers, fire-fighters, and veterans who swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic … and meant it. We won’t “just follow orders.”

Below is our declaration of orders we will NOT obey because we will consider them unconstitutional (and thus unlawful) and immoral violations of the natural rights of the people. Such orders would be acts of war against the American people by their own government, and thus acts of treason. We will not make war against our own people. We will not commit treason. We will defend the Republic.

Declaration of Orders We Will NOT Obey

Recognizing that we each swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and affirming that we are guardians of the Republic, of the principles in our Declaration of Independence, and of the rights of our people, we affirm and declare the following:

1. We will NOT obey any order to disarm the American people.

The attempt to disarm the people on April 19, 1775 was the spark of open conflict in the American Revolution. That vile attempt was an act of war, and the American people fought back in justified, righteous self-defense of their natural rights. Any such order today would also be an act of war against the American people, and thus an act of treason. We will not make war on our own people, and we will not commit treason by obeying any such treasonous order.

Nor will we assist, or support any such attempt to disarm the people by other government entities, either state or federal.

In addition, we affirm that the purpose of the Second Amendment is to preserve the military power of the people so that they will, in the last resort, have effective final recourse to arms and to the God of Hosts in the face of tyranny. Accordingly, we oppose any and all further infringements on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. In particular we oppose a renewal of the misnamed “assault-weapons” ban or the enactment of H.R. 45 (which would register and track gun owners like convicted pedophiles).

2. We will NOT obey any order to conduct warrantless searches of the American people, their homes, vehicles, papers, or effects – such as warrantless house-to house searches for weapons or persons.

One of the causes of the American Revolution was the use of “writs of assistance,” which were essentially warrantless searches because there was no requirement of a showing of probable cause to a judge, and the first fiery embers of American resistance were born in opposition to those infamous writs. The Founders considered all warrantless searches to be unreasonable and egregious. It was to prevent a repeat of such violations of the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects that the Fourth Amendment was written.

We expect that sweeping warrantless searches of homes and vehicles, under some pretext, will be the means used to attempt to disarm the people.

3. We will NOT obey any order to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to trial by military tribunal.

One of the causes of the American Revolution was the denial of the right to jury trial, the use of admiralty courts (military tribunals) instead, and the application of the laws of war to the colonists. After that experience, and being well aware of the infamous Star Chamber in English history, the Founders ensured that the international laws of war would apply only to foreign enemies, not to the American people. Thus, the Article III Treason Clause establishes the only constitutional form of trial for an American, not serving in the military, who is accused of making war on his own nation. Such a trial for treason must be before a civilian jury, not a tribunal.

The international laws of war do not trump our Bill of Rights. We reject as illegitimate any such claimed power, as did the Supreme Court in Ex Parte Milligan (1865). Any attempt to apply the laws of war to American civilians, under any pretext, such as against domestic “militia” groups the government brands “domestic terrorists,” is an act of war and an act of treason.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state, or to enter with force into a state, without the express consent and invitation of that state’s legislature and governor.

One of the causes of the American Revolution was the attempt “to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power” by disbanding the Massachusetts legislature and appointing General Gage as “military governor.” The attempt to disarm the people of Massachusetts during that martial law sparked our Revolution. Accordingly, the power to impose martial law – the absolute rule over the people by a military officer with his will alone being law – is nowhere enumerated in our Constitution.

Further, it is the militia of a state and of the several states that the Constitution contemplates being used in any context, during any emergency within a state, not the standing army.

The imposition of martial law by the national government over a state and its people, treating them as an occupied enemy nation, is an act of war. Such an attempted suspension of the Constitution and Bill of Rights voids the compact with the states and with the people.

5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty and declares the national government to be in violation of the compact by which that state entered the Union.

In response to the obscene growth of federal power and to the absurdly totalitarian claimed powers of the Executive, upwards of 20 states are considering, have considered, or have passed courageous resolutions affirming states rights and sovereignty.

Those resolutions follow in the honored and revered footsteps of Jefferson and Madison in their Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions, and likewise seek to enforce the Constitution by affirming the very same principles of our Declaration, Constitution, and Bill of Rights that we Oath Keepers recognize and affirm.

Chief among those principles is that ours is a dual sovereignty system, with the people of each state retaining all powers not granted to the national government they created, and thus the people of each state reserved to themselves the right to judge when the national government they created has voided the compact between the states by asserting powers never granted.

Upon the declaration by a state that such a breach has occurred, we will not obey orders to force that state to submit to the national government.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

One of the causes of the American Revolution was the blockade of Boston, and the occupying of that city by the British military, under martial law. Once hostilities began, the people of Boston were tricked into turning in their arms in exchange for safe passage, but were then forbidden to leave. That confinement of the residents of an entire city was an act of war.

Such tactics were repeated by the Nazis in the Warsaw Ghetto, and by the Imperial Japanese in Nanking, turning entire cities into death camps. Any such order to disarm and confine the people of an American city will be an act of war and thus an act of treason.

7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.

Mass, forced internment into concentration camps was a hallmark of every fascist and communist dictatorship in the 20th Century. Such internment was unfortunately even used against American citizens of Japanese descent during World War II. Whenever a government interns its own people, it treats them like an occupied enemy population. Oppressive governments often use the internment of women and children to break the will of the men fighting for their liberty – as was done to the Boers, to the Jewish resisters in the Warsaw Ghetto, and to the Chechens, for example.


Such a vile order to forcibly intern Americans without charges or trial would be an act of war against the American people, and thus an act of treason, regardless of the pretext used. We will not commit treason, nor will we facilitate or support it.”NOT on Our Watch!”

8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control” during any emergency, or under any other pretext. We will consider such use of foreign troops against our people to be an invasion and an act of war.

During the American Revolution, the British government enlisted the aid of Hessian mercenaries in an attempt to subjugate the rebellious American people. Throughout history, repressive regimes have enlisted the aid of foreign troops and mercenaries who have no bonds with the people.

Accordingly, as the militia of the several states are the only military force contemplated by the Constitution, in Article I, Section 8, for domestic keeping of the peace, and as the use of even our own standing army for such purposes is without such constitutional support, the use of foreign troops and mercenaries against the people is wildly unconstitutional, egregious, and an act of war.

We will oppose such troops as enemies of the people and we will treat all who request, invite, and aid those foreign troops as the traitors they are.

9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies, under any emergency pretext whatsoever.

One of the causes of the American Revolution was the seizure and forfeiture of American ships, goods, and supplies, along with the seizure of American timber for the Royal Navy, all in violation of the people’s natural right to their property and to the fruits of their labor. The final spark of the Revolution was the attempt by the government to seize powder and cannon stores at Concord.

Deprivation of food has long been a weapon of war and oppression, with millions intentionally starved to death by fascist and communist governments in the 20th Century alone.

Accordingly, we will not obey or facilitate orders to confiscate food and other essential supplies from the people, and we will consider all those who issue or carry out such orders to be the enemies of the people.

10. We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

There would have been no American Revolution without fiery speakers and writers such as James Otis, Patrick Henry, Thomas Paine, and Sam Adams “setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

Tyrants know that the pen of a man such as Thomas Paine can cause them more damage than entire armies, and thus they always seek to suppress the natural rights of speech, association, and assembly. Without freedom of speech, the people will have no recourse but to arms. Without freedom of speech and conscience, there is no freedom.
Therefore, we will not obey or support any orders to suppress or violate the right of the people to speak, associate, worship, assemble, communicate, or petition government for the redress of grievances.

The above list is not exhaustive but we do consider them to be clear tripwires – they form our “line in the sand,” and if we receive such orders, we will not obey them. Further, we will know that the time for another American Revolution is nigh. If you the people decide that you have no recourse, and such a revolution comes, at that time, not only will we NOT fire upon our fellow Americans who righteously resist such egregious violations of their God given rights, we will join them in fighting against those who dare attempt to enslave them.

When I was in Iraq (2003) I was asked by our government to conduct an assessment of the ground situation in Iraq, and what is the likelihood of a civil war developing between the Sunni and Shiite people of Iraq.
I spent 6 plus months conducting an analysis of the situation. The assessment consisted of talking with hundreds of Iraqis, both Sunni and Shiite. This included military, former military, Iraqi police, and Iraqi government personnel.

My conclusion was that a civil war would occur once our military left the area. It happened. Hundreds of thousands of Sunni and Shiite have been killed during their civil war.

In America I have conducted the same type of assessment. I have talked with hundreds of Americans from all walks of life. My conclusion is there will be a civil war within the next five years in America.

The war will be between liberals and conservatives. There have been some people who say I desire a civil war. I do not want any type war. The victims in every war are the children. The war will begin when Obama and his crew announce martial law. No one thinks that this is possible, but one need only look at how Obama has already made a joke of our U.S. Constitution.

Within 5 years martial law will be declared and it is possible this will happen in 2016 when Obama makes up his own rules and laws and attempts to remain President. The patriotic Americans will shout 'we are no longer going to allow our country to be taken over by liberals, communists, Islamic leaders and their supporters'.

There will be some U.S. military leaders who will decide to no longer follow the Commander in Chief (Obama). These Generals will be followed by thousands of our troops. There will be many Generals who will fight for Obama and the New World Order.

There will be chaos in the streets of America. Conservatives will not allow their First and Second Amendment rights be taken from them. There will be a shortage of food, water, housing, and medical care. FEMA will begin arresting tens of thousands of conservatives and place them into concentration camps.

Islamic leaders will have their Jihadi trained terrorists to begin making life 'hell' in America. One will not know the difference between Afghanistan and our beautiful country. We will see hundreds of suicide attacks by Muslims.

The conservative movement will suffer tremendously in the beginning of a war, but will bounce back and take our country back from ruins.

In actuality their will be no winners. Our country will be devastated and it will take decades to recover.

Readers should not shake their heads and say this can't happen in America. We should all pray this never happens, but great society's have been falling for centuries. America will be no different than Rome or England.

What can we do? We must now demand our Constitution be the law of the land, and not taken over by a Dictator regime. We must educate our families, neighbors, friends, and co-workers to the realities our country is facing. Do not be afraid to speak the truth about Christianity and Judaism. We need these values in our lives more than ever.

America has a long and hard road ahead, but we can be one of the great empires that does not collapse if we take our country back now. In the 2014 elections we must put people into power who do not sugarcoat the truth simply to appease liberals and communists.

The bed in the picture is one of which I took in early 2003 when we entered Nasiriyah, Iraq. This is the bed Pvt. Jessica Lynch had in the Saddam Hospital. Jessica had been beaten and sexually assaulted by her captors. The true story about Jessica will come out someday when she does not have to fear her own government. Jessica is a hero. Notice the window in Jessica's room. She was put in this particular room for one purpose. She was made to look out this window which faced the soccer field. She had to watch the beheading's of her fellow troops.

The other picture is Saddam Hospital. Several members of the 507th Maintenance Squadron were murdered upon their capture and buried on the soccer field in front of the hospital. Our troops were buried on the soccer field (after being beheaded)so Iraqi children would run over their graves. Be Cautious of Self Proclaimed CT Experts

Muslim Children Know the Truth & Dangers of Islam

I encourage all to read the book pertaining to the horrors she (Malala) endured from the Taliban last year. Being a young teenager living in Pakistan she wanted girls to be provided the same opportunities for education as Muslim boys. Of course within Islam and Sharia law this is Haram (not legal).

For her civil actions she was shot by the Taliban, but survived. I have always said all children are innocent regardless of religion. This young girl fully understood what Islam is all about. She knew the risks, and yet this brave girl stood up when millions of adult Muslim men and women will not.

The book was released in Pakistan, but booksellers are reluctant to sell the book in their stores. Why? Because the Taliban has threatened to blow stores and people up if they support this young girls efforts.

Many of you know that the Muslim Brotherhood organization (CAIR) in America is suing me because they want my book off of the shelves of bookstores. The OIC (Organization Islamic Committee/comprised of 56 Islamic based countries) has demanded my book be taken off the shelves. This is true Islam. Sharia law and the U.S. Constitution are in no way compatible with one another.

The militants’ sinister influence on public life is a reality no one can avoid. Taliban are a reality, they are going to stay here in the foreseeable future, and they mean business about their decrees. People know all this very well.

That’s the reason when Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) banned Malala Yousufzai’s memoir ‘I am Malala’, it was taken seriously.

A major book selling firm of Peshawar cancelled its ‘I am Malala’ purchase order the day the Taliban decree was published by local newspapers.

“Who can dare ignore their words, they will blow us up,” said a sales representative of the company.

Fear defines the choices people make these days in this city. So many deaths and sufferings have been suffered at the hands of the forces of dread and doom that the people have developed the knack to acknowledge the expanding Taliban threat.

They were left with restrict mobility long ago. An ineffective network of military and police checkposts, thrown in and around the provincial metropolis, carries a strong bearing on the city dwellers’ daily life. Long queues of vehicular traffic at these checkposts have won a general public acceptance. The closure of previously frequented city roads has become a reality to live with.

Music parties on weddings are not considered a good idea, these days. Numerous local musicians have either migrated to other areas in the country or gave up their profession. The people avoid open and frank discussions about matters relating to religion. Late night, travel is not considered safe to-and-from areas in close proximity to Peshawar.

The militants’ pronouncements hold sway over the people’s personal preferences and political thoughts. Sanity is losing space to fears of dread. An element of resilience,characteristic of brevity is there in public response to the Taliban threat. The submissive resilience is more of subjugation to the Taliban tyranny.

“Please don’t put that book (I am Malala) on sale here, we don’t want to get killed in an explosion at this place,” said a female customer, interrupting the salesperson when he was talking to another customer about the book store’s decision to cancel its initial order for 20 books.

“A good number of the people have contacted us, but we asked them to contact booksellers in Islamabad,” said the bookseller.

“We can’t take risk with people’s lives after the Taliban decree,” remarked another salesperson. He said bookshops at Islamabad had removed the book from their display shelves.

His words conveyed a mix of surprise and shock. However, he was not wrong.

A major bookseller in Islamabad, originally a Peshawar-based company, which wound up its business from the provincial capital in 2011 due to the growing Taliban danger, is not selling the book either.

“We are not selling the book and don’t know who is the distributor,” said its representative when contacted.

A growing space is being lost to the militants who have apparently been given the ease to take initiative and decide what is good for the people at large.

Vets and Obama

National security professionals have said for years that Obama will do everything in his power to destroy our beautiful country. Obama is doing a great job currently in hurting America's future. You Must Know The Enemy in Order To Defeat The Enemy

There has never been a war won by any government or organization unless you are aware of who your enemy is. America is on pace to lose the war with Islam because our country and it's leaders will not acknowledge who our enemy is.

Our current leaders both military and political believe we are fighting terrorist organizations who have hijacked the so called peaceful Islam. By continuing with this naive way of thinking we are putting the national security of our country at risk, and more importantly we are putting our children's future at risk.

Americans must first begin to realize that the Islamic ideology is not peaceful, never was, and never will be and it has not been hijacked by Islamic based terrorist groups.

The Islamic based terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc... are practicing 'Pure Islam'. They conduct their hate filled and violent lives as their Prophet Mohammed desired for them to. Islam has not changed in 1400 plus years, and never will.

There are some people who believe you can reform Islam by removing Sharia law. This simply can't be done. If you remove any aspect of Sharia law from Islam, you no longer have Islam. You have simply developed another religion.

I have no expectations that our military and political leaders will ever identify or even realize the true enemy for not only America, but the world, is the Islamic ideology itself.

There are some history and political professional people who will say you can't fight and ideology. I say they are 100% wrong. Big companies and governments are engaged in war with 'Brands and Ideologies' everyday with their competitors.

In order to defeat the Islamic ideology we must begin to brand this ideology as a non religion, and it was developed on the basis of hate and violence. We must brand this ideology as a threat to the world. Countries did this with the Nazi ideology, with the Saddam regime, and everyday Democrats brand the Republican ideology as filled with hate and potential violence. There have been Democrats recently who have said Republicans are 'Jihadists'.

Politicians are fighting one another by attempting to destroy the ideologies of their enemy, the other political parties. This strategy has been very effective, especially when you get the media involved and are willing to spend millions and millions of dollars.

America can defeat the true enemy of America (Islamic Ideology) if we begin to use the same strategies as politicians currently do against one another. Saudi Arabia spends millions of dollars every year to destroy the very foundation of America. They have branded the First Amendment of our Constitution as evil and criminal, especially if an American says anything negative against Islam.

We can defeat our true enemy if we immediately begin spending millions and millions to show the true colors of the Islamic ideology. We can fight this current war better with TV ads, and political speeches aimed at exposing the true Islam. We could remove thousands of our troops from the Middle East, and devote that funding to the branding of Islam as dangerous and our number one enemy.

Again I want to emphasize it is very unlikely our politicians will do this. This means it is future to one day be dominated by Islam and Sharia law...unless of course regular Americans stand up and say enough is enough and give the government back to the people.

U.S. Food Stamp Program

Many people are complaining that the Food Stamp program is being cut back and hurting many people who need food. There are Americans who are hungry, and the majority are the innocent children. They are going hungry largely due to irresponsible parents. The Food Stamp program was established to help those who are truly needy. I would daresay the largest percentage of adults on Food Stamps also smoke tobacco and drink alcohol. Not all, but a large percentage. Why should taxpayers give adults $200.00 in monthly food stamps while they spend $250.00 on cigarretes and alcohol? If one has money to smoke and drink, then we should not be paying for their habits. The U.S. government could save millions of dollars in the food stamp program if they had people sign statements at the beginning that if they buy tobacco or alcohol products they forfeit their food stamps. Then if there is any evidence they did buy tobacco or alcohol they should be prosecuted for filing a fraudulent statement to obtain U.S. government services and their food stamps should stop.

This seems like an easy and practical solution, but of course common sense makes little or no difference to politicians. Dave Gaubatz
